The Key Remembers

Your payout service retries Stripe calls with an Idempotency-Key header. More than one of these statements about that mechanism is true. Select all of them.

A

Keys may be pruned once they are at least 24 hours old, after which the same key produces a brand new request.

B

A request rejected by parameter validation still consumes the key, so a corrected retry needs a fresh one.

C

Retrying with the same key but different request parameters returns an error rather than quietly replaying the original result.

D

A first attempt that returned a 500 is saved under the key, so an identical retry replays that 500 instead of executing the charge.

E

Sending the key on the GET that polls the payout's status makes the read idempotent too.
