Four Hundred Seventy
A sidecar proxy opens a fresh TCP connection to exactly one backend, 10.2.0.9:8080, for every request, sends it, and closes it first, so the sidecar is the active closer and holds TIME-WAIT. The host uses the Linux default ephemeral range, ports 32768 through 60999 inclusive, and TIME-WAIT lasts 60 seconds. Port reuse tuning is off.
What is the highest sustained request rate this host can drive before connect() starts failing with EADDRNOTAVAIL?
