Rebinding the Name, Not the Default

DEFAULT_TAGS = ["urgent"]

def tag(item, tags=DEFAULT_TAGS):
    return f"{item}: {tags}"

DEFAULT_TAGS = ["urgent", "reviewed"]

print(tag("ticket-1"))
What does this print?

A

ticket-1: [], because rebinding DEFAULT_TAGS disconnects tag from any tag list

B

ticket-1: ['urgent']

C

ticket-1: ['urgent', 'reviewed']

D

A NameError, because DEFAULT_TAGS was reassigned after tag was defined
