How Power Level works

How your XP becomes one number.

79

Power Level is a single number built from the XP you earn across the platform, and where that XP comes from is weighted on purpose. Rated implementation solves from the core catalog carry most of the weight, with harder core problems worth more, because those are the solves that most directly reflect real ability. Multi-part projects award XP per checkpoint, so partial progress on something large still counts for something. Quizzes and other domain work add XP too, though deliberately less than core solves, since they complement problem solving rather than substitute for it. The number itself is computed by rounding ten times your XP raised to the 1.15 power, and the tiers run from Null upward through I, II, III, and MAX divisions. Weighting it this way keeps the number tracking the work that actually builds skill, so it reflects real ability rather than raw volume.
